Pedestrian struck in Mississauga collision

A pedestrian is in hospital after being struck by a vehicle that fled the area in a Mississauga collision, according to police.

The incident happened on Creditview Road and Bristol Road, around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Peel Regional Police say the vehicle fled the scene and one person was transported to the local hospital.

Peel Paramedics say the man is in stable condition.

An investigation is ongoing.
