The North Vancouver RCMP is seeking witnesses after a woman fell off a cliffside into the Lynn Canyon Valley.

Police say that first responders rescued the woman, who fell 30 metres, and airlifted her to the hospital.

The women visited the park with other tourists from the United States, and they were allegedly guided by a tour guide.

Police say that the group was near the north side of the Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge at the time of the fall.

As police are investigating the incident, they are asking any witnesses to contact police by calling 604-985-1311.

“We are appealing to any witnesses who may have seen the incident or captured it on their phone,” said Corporal Mansoor Sahak, media relations officer for the North Vancouver RCMP.

“The group was being toured around the Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge, and the incident occurred near the north side of the suspension bridge.”
