Police incident, crash blocking eastbound lanes on HWY 1

Police are on scene after a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 1 in Burnaby that’s blocking some eastbound lanes Tuesday afternoon.

Callers first reported the incident around 12:40 p.m. Details are limited, but multiple callers reported a major police presence and the involvement of multiple vehicles.

Drive BC says the left and HOV lanes are blocked just before North Road. Drivers can expect delays.
