The RCMP says it is investigating a home invasion that happened in Mission earlier this month, and it is turning to the public for help.

At around 1:30 a.m. on Nov. 13, officers responded to a report of a violent home invasion at a residence, Mounties say.

“Suspects entered the home and assaulted the occupants,” the Mission RCMP said.

“The victims were pepper-sprayed, and one individual was struck with a crowbar.”

One of the suspects sustained “substantial injuries” from the homeowner, police say. Around half an hour after the incident, a local hospital reported a man with suspicious injuries had been dropped off by a Dodge Caravan.

“Police located and attempted to stop the vehicle in Abbotsford, which fled at a high rate of speed,” the RCMP said.

“It was later located unoccupied, and police were unable to locate the occupants of the Caravan.”

The suspect was arrested and remains in custody on unrelated charges, police say.

Two other suspects remain at large.

Residents and businesses in the area of Whidden Avenue are asked to review any home security footage between 12 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Nov. 13 to look for any suspicious activity or pedestrians.

Anyone with information or video is asked to call the Mission RCMP at 604-826-7161 and refer to file 2025-14442.
