Police investigating stabbing in Surrey Thursday evening

The Surrey Police Service is investigating a stabbing that took place Thursday evening, Sgt. Tige Pollock has confirmed.

BC Emergency Health Services says two people were taken to hospital after it was called to a home on 116th Street near 99th Avenue shortly after 8:30 p.m.

“Two ambulances with primary care paramedics and an ambulance with advanced care paramedics responded to the scene,” BCEHS said.

“Paramedics provided emergency medical treatment to two patients.”

One of the patients was in serious condition, while the other was in stable condition.

Pollock did not provide further information on whether or not any arrests have been made.
