Police search for suspects in attempted jewellery store robbery in North York

Toronto police are searching for suspects who attempted to rob a jewellery store in North York on Saturday afternoon.

Investigators say suspects attempted to smash the front door of Classic Creations at Billy Bishop Way and Wilson Avenue just before 2:30 p.m.

Police say the would-be thieves were unable to gain entry into the store and fled the scene in a vehicle. There was no immediate description of the suspects.

No one was physically injured in the incident.
