Port Moody police arrest man accused of harassing several women

Port Moody police say they arrested a man over the weekend for allegedly repeatedly harassing women in the Moody Centre area.

The Port Moody Police Department says it has received numerous reports over the past months, opening several investigations into the allegations.

The investigations led police to arrest a suspect and charge him with criminal harassment and uttering threats.

The suspect is currently in custody, with his next court appearance set to take place Wednesday.

Const. Sam Zacharias says police take these reports seriously, and the PMPD are asking other potential victims to come forward.
