Richmond RCMP seeking 7 fragrance theft suspects

The Richmond RCMP is asking for the public’s help identifying seven men who allegedly walked into a drug store and stole thousands of dollars worth of fragrances in November.

Mounties say the suspects — all between the ages of 16 and 20 — walked into the store on Steveston Highway on Nov. 11, 2024, just before 8 p.m., and left within a minute.

“Richmond RCMP frontline attended but all seven suspects were gone prior to police arrival,” police explained.

The fragrances were reportedly worth over $2,400 total.

Police have released the following descriptions of the seven men:

  • The first suspect was wearing a black hoodie with white markings, grey sweat pants, white shoes with a backpack with black and white stripes, with the lower half of his face covered with black fabric.
  • The second suspect was wearing a grey hoodie with white markings, grey sweat pants, and black shoes.
  • The third suspect was wearing a black hoodie with white markings near the neck, black sweat pants, and white shoes, with the lower half of his face covered with black fabric.
  • The fourth suspect was wearing a black hoodie with white markings on the left side, and shoes, with his face covered with black fabric.
  • The fifth suspect had black hair and was wearing a light blue jacket, grey sweatpants, and black shoes, with his face covered with black fabric.
  • The sixth suspect had a moustache and was wearing a light blue jacket, grey sweatpants, and black shoes, with his face covered with black fabric.
  • The seventh suspect was wearing a black jacket with a silver zipper and white lining around the hood, black pants, and black shoes, with his face covered with black fabric.
