Ridge Meadows RCMP looks for missing 14-year-old

Police in Pitt Meadows are searching for a 14-year-old who has been missing since Friday.

Mounties say Dakota Osborne was last seen near 228th Street and Dewdney Trunk Road in Maple Ridge at around 7:30 p.m.

“Dakota’s family is becoming increasingly concerned for her safety as it is out of character to be out of contact with her family for this amount of time,” the RCMP wrote in a statement.

Osborne is described by police as around 5’3″ tall with bleached blonde hair, wearing black ripped jeans, a black hooded sweatshirt and skate shoes. She also reportedly goes by the name ‘Rylea.’
