Rogers giving Blue Jays fans in Vancouver chance to attend ALCS
There’s no doubt Blue Jays fever has taken over baseball fans across Canada – and Vancouver is no different.
Now fans in Vancouver have a chance to get even closer to the action.
Rogers is bringing its “Dial the Dugout” ticket giveaway contest to downtown Vancouver, giving fans a chance to win a pair of tickets to the ALCS in Seattle.
At a pop-up location at CF Pacific Centre on Wednesday between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m., fans can use the Rogers dugout phone to leave a message to cheer on the Blue Jays.
They will then be entered to win a trip for two — including accommodations and round-trip from Vancouver to Seattle — to Game 4 on Thursday, October 16 at Seattle’s T-Mobile Park.
Fans can also leave a message by calling or texting former Blue Jays catcher Russell Martin at 514-807-JAYS (French) or Blue Jays manager John Schneider at 416-987-JAYS (English), or by posting a message of support on social media using #DialTheDugout.
According to a recent survey commissioned by Rogers, three in four British Columbians consider the Blue Jays Canada’s team.
“Vancouver is proud to be a baseball city and the excitement we’ve seen from fans during this playoff run just goes to prove that. This series presents a rare opportunity for fans to see their favourite team play in the postseason and we’re incredibly grateful for Rogers creating a chance to make that happen,” said Vancouver Mayor Ken Sim.
The “Dial the Dugout” giveaway is also making stops in Halifax, Ottawa, and Montreal.
Dial the Dugout is part of Rogers Postseason ticket giveaway. The company is also giving away 500 free tickets for fans to take over a section for every Blue Jays home game at Rogers Centre throughout the MLB Postseason.
Rogers is also giving away Blue Jays Postseason tickets to its customers through Rogers Beyond the Seat including a grand prize contest for each series that includes a pair of tickets with airfare and accommodations. Rogers customers can visit rogers.com/bluejays to enter for a chance to win.

The Toronto Blue Jays are down 2-0 in their best-of-seven series against the Seattle Mariners.
Game 3 goes Wednesday at 8:08 p.m. ET / 5:08 p.m. PT at Seattle’s T-Mobile Park — the venue for Games 3 to 5. Shane Bieber will take the ball for the Blue Jays, opposite Mariners right-hander George Kirby.
All games are on Sportsnet.
