Several vessels involved in fire at Reed Point Marina in Port Moody

Several vessels moored at Reed Point Marina in Port Moody were involved in a fire early Saturday morning, police tell 1130 NewsRadio.

Const. Sam Zacharias of the Port Moody Police Department says officers assisted fire crews with traffic control and scene management.

“Working with fire investigators, we do not believe this fire to be suspicious at this time,” he said.

Thankfully, the vessels were unoccupied at the time, Zacharias says.
