Shots fired at Aldergrove area home

Abbotsford police are seeking witnesses after an Aldergrove area home was targeted by gunfire last week.

The Abbotsford Police Department (AbbyPD) says officers responded to reports of shots fired on Terminal Court near Station Road around 3:30 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 5.

“Upon arrival, officers found that multiple vehicles parked in a residential driveway, as well as the front of the home, had been struck by bullets,” said an AbbyPD release Thursday.

Police say the residents were asleep inside the home at the time, but no one was reported injured.

“The Abbotsford Police Department’s Major Crime Unit has assumed conduct of the investigation and is working to determine the motive behind the shooting.”

Anyone who witnessed suspicious activity or captured dashcam footage from the area between 2:45 and 3:45 a.m. is asked to call the AbbyPD at 604-859-5225.
