Shots fired at business in South Surrey
Police report a business in South Surrey was shot at. The shots caused damage to the exterior of the building.
The business is located on Croydon Drive near 32nd Avenue.
The Surrey Police Service (SPS) says shots were fired between Monday after 8:30 p.m. and Tuesday, 8:30 a.m.
No injuries were reported, and nobody was in the building at the time of the incident.
The Surrey Provincial Operations Support Unit of the RCMP has taken over the investigation of the shooting.
The investigators are collecting more evidence at the scene and are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident to call the SPS non-emergency line at 604-599-0502.
So far, the police have not provided any information on whether this incident is related to any extortion files.
