shots fired at Maple Ridge home, again

The Ridge Meadows RCMP is investigating after a Maple Ridge home was hit with gunfire for the second time this year.

On May 30, Mounties say they responded to shots fired at a residence on 226 Street around 3 a.m. No injuries were reported.

In a news release, the RCMP says it received reports of shots fired at the same address once again early Wednesday morning.

Again, police say no injuries were reported.

“Both incidents are believed to be targeted and the investigations are ongoing. Ridge Meadows RCMP recognizes the concerns of local residents and is taking steps to ensure appropriate public measures are in place.”
