SkyTrain’s Canada Line service disrupted around downtown

Transit riders looking to hop on the Canada Line Monday evening can expect some heavy delays.

The SkyTrain’s Canada Line service is currently suspended between Waterfront Station and Olympic Village Station, due to a medical emergency at Vancouver City Centre.

That means that there’s no Canada Line service to and from the downtown core.

Currently, TransLink says a bus bridge is taking people between Waterfront Station and Broadway-City Hall Station, and a shuttle train is operating between Broadway Station and King Edward Station. Trains at Kind Edward are operating to and from YVR.

The SkyTrain’s Expo and Millennium Lines are currently unaffected, TransLink says.
