Surrey police search for two suspects following shooting

Surrey Police Service (SPS) is looking for two suspects after a shooting left a home and vehicle with several bullet holes early Sunday morning.

At approximately 1:30 a.m. on Dec. 15, police received several reports of shots fired outside of a residence in the 7700 block of 126A St. in the Newton area of Surrey. Police reported several residents were inside asleep at the time. No injuries were reported.

Two suspects, described as adults wearing dark clothing, were seen fleeing the scene on foot.

The investigation is ongoing, led by Surrey Police Services’ Frontline Investigative Support Team with assistance of the Lower Mainland Integrated Forensic Identification Service.
