Toronto police have made two arrests and issued a Canada-wide warrant for a third suspect after a 27-year-old man was found dead following a fight in a west-end apartment building.

Just before 6 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 10, police were called to the building in the Weston Road and Lawrence Avenue West area.

When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from “significant injuries” and he was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have identified him as Edwin John Redmond, of Toronto.

Later that day, police arrested 27-year-old Zakkaria Wardere and 49-year-old Ninos Khoshaba, both from Toronto, and charged each of them with second-degree murder.

Police are searching for a third suspect, 42-year-old Liban Mohamud, of Toronto, who remains at-large. He is wanted on a charge of second-degree murder.

No further details on what may have led up to the incident were provided.
