Suspect wanted following a bank robbery in the Junction

Toronto police are searching for a man who is accused of robbing a financial institution near the Junction on Monday afternoon.

Officers were called to the St. Clair Avenue West and Weston Road area just before 4:45 p.m.

According to police, the man indicated to staff at the bank that he had a gun and fled from the scene on foot. No injuries were reported.

He was last seen wearing a dark green jacket with a hood and dark pants.

An investigation is ongoing.
