Tow truck driver shot in Scarborough

A tow truck driver has been rushed to hospital after being shot in Scarborough.

Toronto police were called to Markham Road and Sheppard Avenue just after 10:30 p.m. for reports of a shooting.

The victim was taken to hospital via an emergency run with serious, possibly life-threatening injuries.

There’s no word on any suspects at this point.

Sheppard is closed in both directions at Shorting Road.
