TTC bus rear-ended by 3 vehicles in Downsview

A TTC bus was rear-ended by three vehicles in Toronto’s Downsview neighbourhood late Friday afternoon.

A spokesperson for the TTC said the bus was picking up passengers at a stop near Sheppard Avenue West and Chesswood Drive when it was struck from behind just before 6:00 p.m.

Toronto police said one driver involved in the collision was taken to a hospital as a precaution. A spokesperson for the TTC said the bus driver was treated at the scene by paramedics for minor back pain. No other injuries were reported. 

The spokesperson said the bus sustained minor damage as a result of the crash and was taken off the road. No service interruptions are expected.
