With little more than a week before Taylor Swift takes to the stage at BC Place, Vancouver is about to get a sense of how massive the disruptions could be.

The City of Vancouver, the Vancouver Police Department, Vancouver Fire Rescue Services, Metro Vancouver Transit Police, TransLink and PavCo — the operators of BC Place — are set to hold a news conference Thursday at 10 a.m., detailing their preparations ahead of the concerts.

The specifics haven’t been laid out yet, but you can at least expect major road closures in the downtown core.

Thousands of fans are expected to take in the Eras Tour on Dec. 6, 7, and 8.
