Vancouver Marathon: Translink adds extra service

Published

on

There will be more transit service on the street, on rail, and on water for the BMO Vancouver Marathon this Sunday.

TransLink announced there will be extra bus services, adding more SkyTrains, and starting the SeaBus two hours earlier.

The Metro Vancouver transit operator says there will be some detours in place for both Saturday and Sunday due to road closures and preparations for the event.

TransLink encourages participants of the Vancouver Marathon to take advantage of the added service and take public transit.

The marathon kicks off at Queen Elizabeth Park and finishes in Stanley Park.
