Vancouver police asking for help finding missing 63-year-old man

Vancouver police are asking for the public’s help finding a missing 63-year-old man Friday.
Police say Alfred Dale Bowering left his assisted living home Thursday at 2 p.m. and was last seen near Queen Elizabeth Park.
Bowering has dementia and a history of having seizures, and police say he doesn’t usually leave his residence alone.
He is described as a 5′ 7″ man, with a medium build, shoulder-length black hair, and a greying goatee.
He was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt, grey sweatpants, black slip-on-style sandals, and a black “Argentina” baseball cap. Police have issued a photo of Bowering to help the public identify him.
Anyone who sees him is asked to call 911 immediately.
“Please approach him with caution as he has limited sight, which can make him vulnerable and aggressive in unpredictable situations,” said police.
