Vigil held for victims of devastating tragedy at Vancouver Filipino event

A prayer vigil is underway for the victims of yesterday’s horrific tragedy in Vancouver that saw 11 people killed and multiple injured.
Dozens have gathered at St. Mary the Virgin Church, located at 808 East 50th Avenue.
Many have joined in to mourn the losses in the community.
Shortly after 8 p.m. near East 43rd Avenue and Fraser Street, a man drove into a crowd at the Filipino Lapu Lapu Day street festival.
He was arrested and remains in police custody.
The motive for the incident is still unknown, but Vancouver Police have ruled out terrorism.
