VPD search for man wanted Canada-wide
The VPD is searching for a man who is wanted Canada-wide who never returned to his halfway house Thursday.
Steven Frederickson, 57, is on a long-term supervision order, and is considered violent and poses a risk to public safety, police say.

Police describe him as having a long grey beard and grey hair and was last seen wearing a dark baseball cap, a dark brown plaid jacket with black lines, a black hoodie, dark grey pants, black shoes with a white logo on the front, and black sunglasses.

Frederickson is legally deaf and walks with a red cane.
Police are asking anyone who sees him or has any information on his whereabouts to call 911 immediately.
