The Vancouver Police Department is on scene in Yaletown Friday morning after an undisclosed incident at the Yaletown-Roundhouse Station on the Canada Line.

While trains are still running through, the station itself has been shut down.

“Extra bus service to Vancouver City Centre Station is in place. Transit Supervisors and Transit Security are assisting customers at affected stations,” TransLink shared in a statement.

TransLink adds that the Millennium and Expo SkyTrain Lines are unaffected.

The VPD has not released any details on the incident, but there are reports that a stabbing may have occurred sometime after 12:30 a.m.

At a building just a couple of doors from the station, blood splatters could be seen in the entranceway and directly outside on the sidewalk.

1130 NewsRadio has reached out to the VPD for more information.
