Arthur Laing Bridge reopens northbound after earlier accident

The Arthur Laing Bridge has reopened northbound after an earlier closure due to a multi-vehicle collision on Grant McConachie and Russ Baker Way.

Southbound traffic was unaffected.

BC Emergency Health Services (BCEHS) says it was called to the scene just after 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

“One ambulance with primary care paramedics and one ambulance with advanced care paramedics responded to the scene,” BCEHS told 1130 NewsRadio.

“Paramedics provided emergency medical treatment to one patient, who was transported to hospital.”
