While snowfall has stopped for the most part in the Lower Mainland, those travelling outside the area should keep their snow tires on.

Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for the Sea to Sky Highway for Sunday stretching into Monday morning.

The service says moist Pacific frontal system will bring up to 15 to 20 cm of snow with a mix of rain on Sunday afternoon and early evening from Squamish to Whistler.

The temperatures are expected to be at a high of 2 degrees C and a low of 0 degrees C in the evening.

Environment Canada says the snow will be ending early Monday morning and a mix of sun and cloud can be expected.
