witnesses wanted after pedestrian hit last week

Vancouver police are still investigating after a driver struck and seriously injured a pedestrian in the city’s Yaletown neighbourhood last week.
Four ambulances reported to the incident involving a pedestrian near Drake Street and Pacific Boulevard on the afternoon of Tuesday, May 13.
Paramedics reportedly provided emergency medical treatment to two patients. Both had to be transported to hospital, one in critical condition the other one in stable condition.
In an update Friday, the Vancouver Police Department says the pedestrian, a 38-year-old man, remains in hospital with “serious, life-altering injuries.”
Police say a video shows multiple pedestrians and vehicles in the area at the time of the collision.
Anyone who may have witnessed the incident or may have dashcam footage is asked to get in touch with investigators at the VPD’s collision unit by calling 604-717-3012.
