1 man in custody after gun shots were fired downtown
One man is in custody after gun shots were fired downtown Friday evening, according to police.
Officers say the incident happened around Yonge Street and Gould Street, near Toronto Metropolitan University, just after 8:30 p.m.
Police recovered a firearm at the scene, but no injuries were reported.
It is unclear if the gun was fired on the street or in a nearby establishment.
