Crews battle fire in Vancouver’s Oakridge neighbourhood Friday

Vancouver Fire Rescue crews are on the scene of a blaze at a vacant house in the Oakridge neighbourhood Friday afternoon.
Assistant Chief Pierre Morin tells 1130 NewsRadio they were called to the home, located near West 41st Avenue and Oak Street, just after 3 p.m.
Morin says that since the home is vacant, no residents have been displaced and no injuries have been reported.
As of just after 4:30 p.m., he said it wasn’t clear whether or not the fire was fully extinguished.
The cause will be investigated.
The fire is causing traffic delays in all directions in the area.
