Illegal Tobacco Seized in North Vancouver

A months-long investigation by North Vancouver RCMP has led to the seizure of a significant quantity of illegal tobacco products.

Police say they discovered 104 full cartons and 247 single cartons of tobacco with fake stamps from various brands inside a home on West 20th Street and Fell Avenue. Officers also seized $5,000 in cash.

The investigation began after authorities observed suspicious activity near a business on Lonsdale Avenue and 15th Street.

One person was arrested and has since been released, pending a future court date.
