Intersection on HWY 15 in Surrey reopens after accident Sunday

The intersection of 176th Street (Highway 15) and 32nd Avenue in Surrey has reopened after it was closed due to a collision between two vehicles Sunday morning, the Surrey Police Service says.
Staff Sgt. Lindsey Houghton tells 1130 NewsRadio police were called just after 11:30 a.m.
When crews arrived, one of the one of the vehicles was on fire. Houghton says the Surrey Fire Service extinguished the flames.
“Injuries are reportedly minor, but the intersection will be closed for a while for the investigation and clean up,” Houghton said.
BC Emergency Health Services says it got to the scene around the same time.
“Three ambulances were dispatched and paramedics provided emergency medical treatment for four patients at the scene. Paramedics transported three patients to hospital,” it said.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
The intersection had fully reopened by 3 p.m.
